
Emily Harper Ellis is an emerging writer from Western North Carolina. Her reporting can be found in multiple Southern Arizona newspapers and has won several Arizona Press Club Awards. Her short fiction appears or is forthcoming in EPOCH, The Mississippi Review, The Greensboro Review and Gulf Stream Magazine. She was a finalist for The Hudson Prize from Black Lawrence Press and received the Robert Watson Literary Prize for Fiction. She holds a dual MA in Latin American Studies and Journalism from the University of Arizona and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Tennessee.
